COSTA RICAN – BLACK HONEY PROCESSED

This Costa Rican coffee is from Hacienda La Pradera in the Tarrazu region, and is grown at 1300-1500 meters.  Black Honey describes the way in which the beans are dried and fermented.  Black Honey coffees are dried with all of the mucilage still on the bean, and they are hand turned until they are dry.  This process produces a full bodied and almost sweet taste with fruity depth.  We don’t have much of this, so try some before it is gone.
